- **Event Name**: White Water Kayak Improvers Week
- **Event Start and End Date**: Mon, 04 May, 2026 at 09:00 am (+01:00)
- **Event Description**: This course is designed to get you developing your paddling skills on grade 2 white water and develop your grade 3 paddling. We will look at all aspects of white water skills including some safety skills to ensure balanced and blended learning.

Hopefully we can take the group to rivers or sections they haven't experienced before to give everyone new environments in which to test themselves and their developing skills as the week progresses.

The course is run by Lyle Smith, a BCAB Advanced White Water and Performance White Water coach with a huge passion for white water kayaking.

An example list of some of the rivers we may paddle in this week are:

River Dee
River Findhorn
River Spey
River Tay

You should have experience of running grade 2 and some grade 3.

The cost for the course is £450 and will run at a maximum of 1 coach to 4 participants to ensure individualised and tailored feedback.
