We'll start with a tasting of several varieties of homemade sourdough Pop Tarts, served alongside Purple Tea, then get to work in the classroom!

In the class, you'll:

• Taste & Sip – Sample a variety of homemade sourdough Pop Tarts while enjoying Purple Tea.

• Learn the Techniques – Get hands-on instruction in sourdough pastry, rolling, filling, sealing, and baking techniques.

• Make Your Own – Assemble your own Pop Tarts to take home and bake fresh in your kitchen.

• Decorate & Enjoy – Decorate pre-made Pop Tarts with fun toppings and take them home ready to eat.

• Learn the Sourdough Difference – Discover how incorporating sourdough fermentation into your baking can make grains easier for some people to digest and may improve mineral availability and the way carbohydrates are handled compared with conventional baked goods.

Every participant will receive a take-home baking kit, including:

Dough roller
Bench scraper

All recipes are included, so you'll have everything you need to recreate your Pop Tarts at home.
