- **Event Description**: Roots & Remedies is a ​growing food ​& plant medicine gardening project brings people together in a welcoming space to ​learn about and experience grow​ing food and medicinal plants. 

Through friendly, practical sessions at Millpond Botanicals​ at Mill of Muchalls volunteers build food-growing skills, and discover how plants support wellbeing, all while enjoying the benefits of being outdoors and learning together. Refreshments and snacks provided - please let us know of any food allergies/intolerances to be taken into account. 

The sessions will be held outdoors and require a level of physical fitness and for you to be comfortable doing light manual handling tasks (e.g., carrying small items, gardening tasks). We ask that you come wearing appropriate footwear and adequate clothing and headwear (sunhat or woollen beanie when cooler). We provide gardening tools but if you prefer to bring your own please do.
