This course addresses the skills required for safe anaesthetic practice within the obstetric unit.
It is aimed at Stage 1 Anaesthetists in Training who are currently completing or have completed the Initial Assessment of Competence in Obstetric Anaesthesia.
Using the human patient simulator in combination with other simulator modalities, the course offers participants hands on experience of managing relevant scenarios. This course has been developed and is delivered by a faculty of experienced Obstetric Anaesthetists.
The course is only available to residents in Aberdeen or Inverness.
