ART CRAFT & FOOD AT CRATHES CASTLE
Situated on the lawns beside the Horsemill and within the Horsemill itself, we will be holding our annual Summer market, adjacent to Crathes Castle and sitting alongside their wonderful gardens this is a beautiful scenic event for all to enjoy.
A unique opportunity arises to converse with a host of passionate artisans, discuss their goods, and see techniques both modern and traditional used to create their wares.
You’ll be able to shop from our exhibitors extensive ranges featuring delightful ceramics, beautiful giftware, unusual metal work & tweed textiles. A fine collection of artists from across Scotland. Sterling silver, beaded and sea glass jewellery. Wax melts, candles, reed diffusers along with vegan and organic soaps and skincare to delight all and lovely children’s clothes, felted art, decoupage and fused glass.
There will be a multiple of flavoured gins from local producers along with liquors, rums and botanical spirits.
Take time to browse the range of deliciously unusual preserves, honeys and roasted coffee beans. Sample some of the extensive ranges of fudge and tablet and take your pick from a tempting array of cakes and tray bakes together with a tempting array of an assortment of pickled veg.
Henderson Fine Foods will be attending with pork on a spit and serving pulled pork in a brioche bun together with Edelwurst company selling authentic German Street food. Roaring Stag will be serving a range of hot and cold beverages .
