1 on Me

Join us for a special fundraising Training Day with Norse Tactical, featuring professional instruction in Close Quarters Tactics (CQT)—all in support of 11‑year‑old Joel Spearman, the son of Deputy Thomas Spearman of the Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office. Joel comes from a single‑parent home, and the Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office will generously provide lunch for all event participants.

Joel is bravely fighting pituitary adenomas, requiring multiple surgeries and ongoing radiation at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, with an expected treatment duration of 6–8 weeks.

Within the law‑enforcement community, the phrase “1 on me” is called out when a teammate needs support carrying a burden that has become too heavy alone. Today, that call extends to our entire community.

Thomas and Joel need us.
As a devoted father and first responder, Thomas will miss several weeks of work while caring for his son. While St. Jude covers the primary medical costs, additional expenses—travel, lodging, meals, and lost income—remain significant, especially in a single‑parent household.

By purchasing a ticket and attending this Norse Tactical training event, you are answering the call.
You are saying: “1 on me.”

To participate in the Norse Tactical Close Quarters Tactics Training Day, you MUST be one of the following:

• A sworn Law Enforcement Officer, or
• Active Duty Military

This requirement is for training participation only.
Donations are welcomed from anyone, regardless of eligibility to attend the training.

Your involvement helps support essential living expenses and costs not covered by St. Jude, enabling Thomas to focus fully on Joel’s healing.
