Youth for Change | Sustainable Development Goals
How can we, the 1.8 billion young people around the world ? solve the world’s largest problems? The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted by all nations at a summit in New York in September 2015 as the agenda for the entire world until 2030. And for the goals to be reached, everyone needs to do their part: governments, institutions, organizations, civil society, and people like me and you.
The agenda has now been under implementation for three years. Why are the goals so important? How far have we come in implementing them? Are they realistic? Which are the obstacles? What can we all do to promote them? What SDG-oriented organizations can you volunteer in? and how is Project 2030, in particular, making a difference in Aalborg? These are some of the questions that we will try to answer ?
The event is free and open to all, so join us on February 20 at the International House with your friends, roommates, partners and/or kids to get the chance to learn more about the importance and purpose of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
All are welcome! ?
