Cuban Salsa for Beginners
This is a beginner-level course — no previous dance experience is required!
The exact content may vary depending on the participants, but generally includes:
Introduction to salsa steps: basic step, forward and back step, side step, partner openings and holds
Hip movements for ladies and shoulder movements for men
Introduction to salsa turns: right turn, left turn for both followers and leaders, with various lead techniques
Rueda de Casino
Cross-body lead basics: following techniques for ladies and leading techniques for men
Dance floor combinations and partner dancing
You can also expect:
A fun and positive atmosphere
Stress relief
Clear and easy-to-follow instructions
A chance to meet lots of new people
Note: You don’t need a partner to join the class!
Social Dancing
After the classes, stick around for open dancing! We’ll play a diverse mix of music styles including salsa, bachata, forró, merengue, reggaeton, and more — giving you the perfect opportunity to practice and develop your new dance moves.
Price
It is free for if you have both dinner ticket or it will cost 100 kr.
