Den Lille Dør er et stemningsfuldt jazz-projekt, som har til formål at skabe en liveoplevelse, der blander fotokunst, feltoptagelser, musik og improvisation. Med udgangspunkt i fotografier fra Nordjylland, taget af projektets komponist Andrea Sciuso, sammensættes billedsekvenser, hvortil der skræddersyes musik, som bandet spiller live, mens billederne bliver vist på en det store lærred. Gruppen inkluderer optagelser af naturens lyde fra billedernes direkte kilde, såsom blade, dyr og vand, hvilket skaber musik med dette præcise sted som udgangspunkt. Resultatet er en smuk musikalsk fordybelse i forholdet mellem fællesskab og ensomhed, menneske, Gud og natur. Den Lille Dør består af: Andrea Sciusco (Trommer, fotografi og komposition) Bertil Vesterlund (trompet), Glen Montanaro (guitar), Mads Jensen (guitar) og Thanos Mistilioglu (elektronik, feltoptagelser og lydbillede).

Den Lille Dør is a Ambient/Jazz project, born out of the idea of creating a new kind of immersive live experience blending photos, field recordings, music and improvisation. Based on photographs from Nordjylland, taken by the projects’ composer Andrea Sciusco, that are collected into sequences: from these Andrea write tailored soundtracks that are executed live by the band, while the slides are projected on the big screen. To enhance the experience they have included recordings of sounds, leaves, animals and natural elements from the direct source of the pictures, creating a new kind of "geographical music". The result is a deep, complete dive into the concept of interaction between loneliness, man, God and nature settled within the beautiful landscapes of Nordjylland. Since the music describes this country all song titles are in Danish; however, to create a deeper connection throughout the live, it's important that each tune gets explained in English to make the audience capture what Andrea sees as a foreigner in this country.
