Guitarists often focus on technique, scales, and improvisation, while concrete methods for expanding one’s voicing vocabulary are less frequently addressed. This workshop aims to change that. In addition, Kwella will introduce methods for consciously working on rhythmic accuracy and awareness of different subdivisions. Simple and effective techniques will be demonstrated—applicable to most guitarists regardless of style. 12:15 Lunch 13:00 Concert: Jens Christian Kwella and Lucas Illanes (DK) 13:30 Workshop with Lucas Illanes "Based on many years of experience as a guitarist, teacher and producer – including work with sound and arrangement in the studio – Lucas Illanes will present practical methods to strengthen the role of the guitar in a band context at this workshop. He will show, among other things, how guitarists can develop an improvisational approach to both solo and accompanying playing on the rhythmic guitar through concrete guitar idiomatic concepts. The workshop is particularly aimed at guitarists and guitar teachers who want to expand their musical and pedagogical toolbox" 15:30 Coffee and wrap-up/evaluation – and thank you for today. Note : Participants are required to bring their instruments so that the workshops can include hands-on exercises and examples. - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/aalborg/dansk-guitar-symposium-2025/200028556833522 - **Event Categories**: music, entertainment, workshops, concerts, contests, business, exhibitions, festivals, pop, live-music, conferences - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 13 ## Ticket Details ## Event venue details - **city**: Aalborg - **state**: NJ - **country**: Denmark - **location**: Rendsburggade 2 , 9000, Aalborg, Nordjylland - **lat**: 57.04724 - **long**: 9.92764 - **full address**: Rendsburggade 2 , 9000, Aalborg, Nordjylland, Denmark ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Dansk Guitar Symposium 2025 - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events5/banners/3787a2ea384098cb3a7ecee61050037fd4aa6efddf8e0e98182e0eeffdc9ecd4-rimg-w1200-h628-dcfefeff-gmir?v=1760396449 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Dansk Guitar Symposium 2025 being held? - **A:** Dansk Guitar Symposium 2025 takes place on Thu, 13 Nov, 2025 at 09:00 am to Sat, 15 Nov, 2025 at 11:00 pm at Rendsburggade 2 , 9000, Aalborg, Nordjylland, Denmark. - **Q**: Who is organizing Dansk Guitar Symposium 2025? - **A:** Dansk Guitar Symposium 2025 is organized by Aalborg Guitar Festival & Competitions. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
