Los Hot Chocolates están medio camino entre el tradicional conjunto de Dixieland y las grandes big bands de la era del swing. La banda se comienza a gestar durante el verano de 2013 juntando algunos de los mejores músicos de Jazz de la escena musical coruñesa. Con un espectáculo eminentemente festivo, los conciertos de los "Chocolates" se caracterizan por transmitir la alegría y positivismo del jazz tradicional, y la diversión del baile del swing.
