Please join us on March 8, 2025 in Putnam‘s veterans Park 127 Church St., Putnam, CT at noon along with Putnam‘s Brian Maynard and speakers Putnam Mayor Barney Seney, American Legion State Commander John DeBisschop, State Senator Mae Flexer, State Senator Jeff Gordon, and of course Ryan Walker, author of The Silent Service’s First Hero and executive director of the USS Henry Breault Association to hear about the grassroots efforts underway to have a Submarine named after a Connecticut Native and the Navy’s first enlisted submariner to be awarded the Medal of Honor.
