Built over 200 years ago as Quebec City's first common J*il, the Morrin Centre is now a museum & home to one of the world's most beautiful libraries. Visitors will discover a hidden and almost unknown part of the city's history by exploring two old cell blocks from the time period as well explore the Morrin College, an institution that moved in after the closure of the J*il in 1867 and became the first and last English-institute of higher education in all of Quebec City's history. Be in awe of our guide's intriguing stories surrounding our Centre` s past and get the chance to learn about our dark but also illuminating heritage we have here!
