Treat your ears to the captivating fiddle player Alastair Caplin plus Rhob Cunningham and Jenny Lindfors, two of Ireland’s most promising singer songwriters.
Step onto the roof terrace to be wrapped up in the weaving, and earthy sounds of Jaquelyn Hyne & Friends, followed by Orlaith and the Lemons traditional Irish sessions. Tad Sargent leads a Bodhran workshop, a drum that is said to soothe the inner soul with its ancient trance like beat.
Participate in a basket weaving workshop, listen in wonder to our Irish storyteller's magical tales of legend, and hunt for gold at the end of the rainbow. Explore a selection of stalls whilst feasting on homemade Irish stew . Whet your cultural appetite with a day of visual and performance art.
The Long Notes welcome the evening with a distinctive folk, roots and celtic sound, while they produce captivating arrangements of Irish, Scottish, French-Canadian, Galician, Quebecois and old-time tunes.
