A Short Course
Massage helps to support the development of a strong attachment, reduce crying and emotional stress, helps babies to relax, develops body awareness and coordination, supports relief from wind, colic. constipation and teething discomfort. Parents can learn the massage techniques in order to practice massage at home. By signing up to attend Baby Massage I commit to attending all 4 sessions.
Please note: The start date is the first session and then these will be weekly on the same day and time for the length of the course unless stated or advised by the group leader.
Please be aware of the following:
• Your booking is for the people you have booked in only.
• If you cannot attend the session you have booked onto, you need to cancel your place to enable someone else to book on. You cannot pass your booked place to a friend.
• A register of attendees who have booked onto the session will be kept and used to provide access to the Family Hub on the day of the session. Only people who have booked in, in advance will be able to attend.
• We ask that you DO NOT attend a group if you or a member of your household are feeling unwell (incl. COVID)
• You will be asked to sign in at the session
• You are responsible for your children at all times when attending a group activity
• Places are limited and all our courses are available to parents who live in Sheffield only. Please contact your local authority early years team as they may offer something similar. Any bookings made by parents not in Sheffield will be cancelled.
• Any safeguarding matter that may arise during a session will be followed up.
