When stress and problems come our way, we tend to lean one of two unhealthy ways. It’s either “Fight,” or “Flight.” We either obsess and worry, or ignore and run. The stress seems to go with us—both when we cause it and when it finds its way to us.

King David, though, has some advice for us about stress (both self-made and made by others) from his personal experience. By God’s power, he wrote that advice for us in the Bible.

Women, let’s gather together for Women In God’s Service, or W.I.N.G.S., our women-only small group. With good food, fellowship, and God’s Word, we’ll build up our faith for “fight or flight” God’s way. God has blessed us with sisters in our church family—let’s do this together.
