Few things eternize passing life : the inimitable art of a Shakespeare or the immortal brush of an Angelo or a Picasso. Don’t you worry if you are not the like of them. You are lucky to have become part of MCC, its Spirit never dies! It is embodied in the endless chain of alumni – at least over the last 175 years.

Even a brief stay in a class or a hall of residence in the never – aging, ever – green sylvan campus equips the sojourner with inspiration for the rest of the life on this planet. The white carpet walk on the Principal’s avenue, the clandestine romance in lovers’ lanes – there are many, the botanists’ as well as the zoologists’ haunt of a myriad flora and fauna, not to speak of history made by every aspect of life, the creativity and fun that life in halls of residence nurture and many other aspects constitute the soul and psyche of an MCCite. More than the scene, the people
with whom he or she has been brought into contact and the traditions that unconsciously let camaraderie to flourish constitute the unfading joy of alumni. Won’t you care to re – visit the immortal mother who has made you what you are? Then, don’t miss the Global Alumni Re – Union meet on 27-28July, 2013 . Put on hold aging just to step into your rejuvenating campus! And you will miss half the fun if you don’t bring your spouse and children too. Won’t you be happy to meet the eternally vigilant Miller or visit the room where you nurtured thoughts now perhaps too confidential to share, or reminisce the mischief of a Dr. Boyd, or the growl of Dr.Macphail, or the shoulder caressing of a Chandran Devanesen or the measured walk of the White clad Bennett or Dr. Kibble of sundial fame? As Wordsworth would put it, it is these unremembered little mercies that make the sum of life that is larger than all. Do come and share the re – invigorating joy of re-union.

Details of the programme will reach you while you spread word around about the meet!
