Holistic Management of the Triathlete: Injury Prevention and Recovery is a USAT continuing education conference for certified coaches and athletes. The goal of the conference is to bring together a community of healthcare providers and coaches to share knowledge on how to best help athletes experience ongoing healthy training. Attendees will learn simple observational, testing and questions to help identify injury risk or early stages of injury, illness, or healthcare problem. Additionally, knowledge on training, self-management, and when to seek guidance from a healthcare professional will be shared.
Thanks to our generous sponsors: One on One Physical Therapy, Energy Lab, USA Triathlon Southeast Region who is generously hosting our lunch and learn on Saturday, and all3sports.com, who is providing gift bags!
All proceeds from the course will go towards funding the Atlanta Triathlon Club- Paratriathlon Program Annual Camp, which was held for the first time in 2016 with help from the Atlanta Triathlon Club and Shepherd Center. The mission of the camp is to provide exposure to triathlon and accessibility to equipment and the triathlon community. Our hope is to break down barriers to an active lifestyle people with physical disabilities may face after injury and help these athletes find confidence and community through sport.
