Mindfulness in Psychotherapy & Education

It’s an exciting time for mindfulness in both psychotherapy and education! In this daylong we will introduce innovative, developmentally appropriate techniques for sharing mindfulness with children pre K- preteens and applied mindfulness practices for parents and co-parenting couples. We will show a video of a local ground –breaking “mindfulness cooperative”, that serves children ages 3 – adolescence and their parents, with footage of this pioneering work.We will present up to date research and case studies on psycho-therapeutic and educational uses of mindfulness with children, families, and couples, in this rapidly developing field. This program is appropriate for psychotherapists, educators and parents. Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychotherapist available.
