This will also mark the re-release of two albums Dan has amalgamated from 2007/2008 into one album "Quick Walk Hard Road."

"latest CD entitled “The Bluegrass Album”. Dan is a youthful multi-instrumental musician

who discovered his love affair with bluegrass music about 10 years ago.

He grew up in Pinawa, Manitoba and has been writing songs and honing his outstanding

musical skills since childhood. He does not always adhere to the classic Nashville style

of bluegrass, but uses his own refreshingly personal song writing style and unique

trademark vocals to pay honor to the genre of traditional homegrown music.

Dan also plays dobro and guitars on the CD and has brought together an outstanding

group of local musicians to back him up. Grand champion fiddler Patti Lamoureux plays

on about half of the tracks. The rest of the fiddling is played with fine style and grace by

15 year old Jane Cory. In fact all the fiddling on this CD is quite outstanding. One cut

shines with a touchingly beautiful twin fiddle break played by Patti and her son Alex.

Seamless backups are provided by Bluegrass veterans Tim Longbottom on bass and

Robert Allan Wrigley on banjo. Another amazing young musician Jeremy Russu, stands

out for his beautiful work on the mandolin. Vocal harmonies are provided Jane Cory and by songbird,

Emma Cloney. The music sparkles with technical skill, youthful energy and deep respect

for traditional bluegrass music as interpreted by a dedicated group of local young

musicians.
