SO here’s how things are going to work this time around.



$200.00 Cash up for grabs EACH NIGHT…

This is how it works out.

Two DJ’s will be randomly selected. Those DJ’s will compete in a battle of skill and knowledge..

There will be two categories to compete in. with 3 separate genre’s

Categories

1) Turn Tables

2) CDJ’s (using serato, cd’s or usb drives)



Genres (Your input is requested for which 3 best would be best suited)

1) Top-40

2) Hip-Hop

3) Your Personal Favorite



Both DJ’s will be required to do all three genres with a 30 minute time line for each one.

That’s 1 ½ hours of playing time for each DJ which should give adequate time for a solid performance,

The DJ who wins best out of three is crowned the winner that night and is awarded the $200.00



Once the battle is complete the LOSER is to play out the remainder of the night (depending on how much time is remaining for the evening)

The winner of that night is automatically scheduled to perform the next Deck Wars to again win another $200.00 and hold onto they’re #1 spot. If in the event that the returning champion loses. Just like the previous week, they will be required to perform for the remainder of the night.



In order to qualify to compete, you must be in attendance at the venue to enter your name.. The two names will be drawn live… so arrive with the anticipation of performing and have your gear with you that you wish to perform with. I kindly ask that if you are NOT picked to play. Please to stick around because your support is needed.



NOTE*** This is a re-vamp of the contest which is still not 100% set into stone, so your idea’s, comments are greatly appreciated, if you feel the need to see something changed. Don’t hesitate to submit your ideas.
