I want to do something AWESOME for HALLOWEEN this year, and for a horror junkie like myself, what a better way to celebrate it by touring one of the most haunted places in America!

The website will pretty much answer ALL of your questions, so I'll just go ahead and list the important stuff here.

1. How much will this cost me?
-Well, it depends. If I can get a group of AT LEAST 10 people we can rent out the entire asylum for ourselves for the whole night! The pricing for that is $150.00 per person plus a $250.00 insurance policy. The insurance is a one time fee which covers the whole group so divide that by 10 people and you're looking at $25.00 per person to cover the insurance. So total, you're looking at $175.00 per person for this experience.
-Now if less than 10 people go or if that's just too much for the majority of the confirmed group to spend than there's another way the tour can be done. Basically, "said group" will be touring with other "said groups" most likely people you don't know, and they will divide everyone in 4 groups of ten and each group will tour different parts of the asylum on their own. The cost of this is only $100.00 per person and insurance is NOT required. I prefer to do the private tour of course, because it would be a better experience with 10 people versus 40 and it'd only be $75.00 more, but we'll see.
2. Where is this place?
-The asylum is located in Weston, West Virginia which is about a 14 hour drive from Pensacola, FL.
3. When would we be leaving and where would be stay?
- My birthday falls on a Friday next year! February 3. So, the plan would be to leave Friday evening around 6PM which means we would arrive in West Virginia around 8AM the following day. This way if you decide to carpool, your group can take turns driving and you'd most likely be sleeping for most of the drive since it'll be at night.
-I've found some really great deals on hotels via hotwire.com, kayak.com, & priceline.com all within the 30-60 dollar per room per night range and since hopefully there will be a group of us if we decided to divide the total cost of the hotel room it shouldn't be too costly for everyone.
-We'd be staying for 2 nights. Check in Saturday Morning and Leave Sunday evening.
3. How long is the tour?
-The tour begins at 9PM and we will be locked in until 5AM the following morning. So it will be an all night adventure!
4. What can we bring to the tour?
-You bring anything except for drugs and alcohol. So you can bring your , video , cell phones, ghost hunting equipment, EVP, etc. lol
5. So how much is this REALLY going to cost me??
-Okay well if you include food, drinks, hotel, gas, tour. AGAIN, this all depends on your group or our group and if some of these costs can be divided up evenly within the group. But, just to give you a ball park estimate, I would say, around $300.00 per person plus or minus 10-15 dollars.

I know it may seem costly, but if you're a dedicated horror fan like myself or you're a die hard thrill seeker than it won't be any problem to you! I think this would be an awesome experience and really fun as well. And besides it's only October so if this is something you think you would like to do than you have about 4.5 months to save $300.00 and make the necessary arrangements!
