World renown Piano Virtuoso Mengesha Mystro Francis, who in 2011 did the Ultimate Piano Tribute honoring Michael Jackson and who is also a supporter of Barack Obama, will now be performing a must see breath taking Piano Tribute video honoring our 44th President Barack Obama.
President Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4th, 1961, to a father from Kenya and a mother from Kansas. Growing up, he was also raised by his grandfather, who served in Patton's army, and his grandmother, who worked her way up from the secretarial pool to become middle management at a local bank.
After working his way through college with the help of scholarships and student loans, President Obama moved to Chicago, where he worked as an organizer to help rebuild communities devastated by the closure of local steel plants.
He went on to Harvard Law School, where he became the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review. Upon graduation, he took a job teaching constitutional law at the University of Chicago. He also remained active in his community, leading a drive that registered more than 150,000 voters in Illinois leading up to the 1992 election.
Mengesha "Mystro" Francis was born, June 13, 1971. He is of African-American and Ethiopian descent. He goes by the stage name "Mystro" that was givin to him by Rap Producer "Battlecat". "Mystro" is a native of South Central Los Angeles, is a classically-trained pianist, and has a Gospel, Hip-Hop, and Classical styles of playing the piano. Mengesha started out as a child actor.
After an audition for National a commercial Mengesha developed Chicken Pox and lost the lead role in the 1974 Jack In The Box commercial that made actor Rodney Allen Rippy famous for saying the line, "It's too big to eat."
Mengesha was later managed by actor Corey Feldman's father Robert Feldman, CEO of New Talent Enterprises. He studied with and hung out with Corey and other child stars including Drew Barrymore; Josh Hartnett; and the late Corey Haim.
Under Robert Feldman's management Mengesha won many auditions for movies such as Juice and House Party II. Mengesha attended UCLA, and West LA College and can read, write and improvise music. After continuing his training he became a music teacher with Heavenly Vision Christian Academy from 1991-1995. During his tenure at Heavenly Vision, Mystro founded the Power of Music Children's Choir, which was a finalist in the McDonald's Gospel Fest of 1995. Later he began working professionally with seasoned Rap and R&B recording artists, and has been a member of The Professional Musicians Union Local 47 since 2000.
