Hailing from Strasbourg, France, The Feeling of Love have recently released their "Dissolve Me" LP on Kill Shaman Records following 2 earlier LPs and a string of singles. Morphing over the years from a lewd and crewd 1-man punk band to a full blown psych/garage 3 piece the band's latest material touches on greats from the past like VU, Suicide and Spacemen 3 and puts them in the same league as contemporaries like Thee Oh Sees, Ty Segall and The Intelligence. The band features members of other French heavyweights AH Kraken and Crash Normal.
Oakland's Meercaz are the brainchild of Muslim Delgado and their brand of 70s proto-punk landed their first album on the legendary Gulcher Records (home of the motherfucking Gizmos among many others). Fans of primitive gunk like the Gizmos, Twinkeyz, Screaming Mee-Mees and Chrome won't want to miss 'em.
Little Queenie, also from Oakland, are Sweet Rot's newest signing and are a 2 bass/no guitar thug-punk juggernaut. Calling them a modern day version of Crushed Butler wouldn't be too far off the mark. The band features ex-members of Bay Area greats Gris Gris, Battleship and Short Eyes.
And of course, Vancouver's own Sex Church will be playing a rare show highlighting songs from their recent Load Records LP.
