Established in 1997 and running for almost 15 years without interruption, SANCTUARY is Vancouver's longest-running nightclub event directly serving the alternative subculture community of the city, gathering together a wildly creative collection of everyone from goths, ravers, rivet-heads, fetish freaks, college kids, curious newbies, stalwart old school-ers, all for the love of the music and aesthetic. Want to dress up ultra spooky-sexy-freaky in rubber, PVC or some over-the-top attire? People will love it and eat you up and you'll feel right at home. Want to just come casual in jeans and a t-shirt? Go for it, people party at all ends of the spectrum, with the focal point being the dancefloor.

Sanctuary happens on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month at Club 23 West, presented by Restricted Entertainment.
