*WE ARE SEEKING VOLUNTEERS, AND DONATIONS IN THE FORM OF CASH, SERVICES, PRODUCTS, PRIZES, FOOD AND SUPPORT FOR THE EVENT FROM LOCAL BUSINESSES. PLEASE INQUIRE IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN SUPPORTING THIS EVENT IN ANYWAY.*
We will begin early in the morning with a beach volleyball tournament. There will be two draws, an intermediate co-ed beach doubles tournament and an all levels beginners welcome beach 6's tournament.
The event will be outdoors, rain or shine, with the only rain cancelation due to extreme rain. In the event of extreme weather we will have an indoor facility booked as a plan-B, fall back plan.
After the beach vollyeball at around 3-4 pm we will begin live music, BBQ, and a bocce tournament. All of the food/equipment/staffing should all be sourced by local donations so if you know anybody willing to help or to donate any equipment, time, resources please put them in touch with us right away.
There will be a fixed fee TBA very shortly for entry into the tournaments. There will be a min suggested donation for watching the bands and participating in the BBQ portion.
The event will be outdoors and take place at the last set of volleyball courts and spanish banks and the last field at spanish banks respectively. If there are any other specific questions about the event please forward them to Ben Newman or Ian House via facebook.
