Statement of Solidarity – March To Ottawa:

In solidarity with thousands of Canadians gathering in Ottawa on September 17th, 2012.

"We the people of Canada, in greater numbers with each passing day understand that our nation's democracy is under threat.

We stand today in solidarity, and declare that Stephen Harper is not the legitimate Prime Minister of Canada.

Election fraud is treason, and by allowing Mr. Harper to continue as Prime Minister of a ‘majority government’ despite clear evidence of election fraud, the people who are supposed to act on our behalf by upholding our laws have violated their oaths and betrayed our country, its citizens, and the common good.

And so in response to this dereliction of duty by the Government of Canada, the Attorney General, and the Commissioner of the RCMP, and by the evidence of criminal activity collected by Elections Canada and presented by lawyers for certain plaintiffs, we demand the following:

o The immediate announcement, by the Government of Canada that no new laws will be passed until Elections Canada and the RCMP's investigation into reports of voter suppression have been concluded;
o That court challenges based on the accusation and evidence of electoral fraud in 7 federal ridings be encouraged to continue unmolested by the Conservative Party lawyers;
o That any ‘bills’ passed into law since the May 2nd, 2011 be reversed, and all new bills awaiting reading also be held pending said conclusions.
o That the opposition parties will unite as non partisan allies of the Canadian people, in opposition to the government’s pretension to a majority, to add gravitas to this crisis, and so as to cease participating in the criminal assault against our democracy.

Beyond these immediate & urgent demands, we strenuously assert that the system must be overhauled entirely to prevent this from happening again. We call on the citizens of Canada to rise up in defense of our democracy, to act now to protect our electoral process from criminal activity, and to demand good government through free elections, and honest and fair representation.
