Timmy Campbell's 6th Annual Bowl for a cure!

A little bit of information about Timmy: Timmy is 10 years old. He lives in Brownstown, MI. He is in fourth grade at Chapman Elementary. Six years ago in December, Timmy was diagnosed with Buchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This is a horrific muscle wasting disease with no known cure. Timmy loses some of his muscle everyday and his body never rebuilds them. Timmy is now in a wheelchair, he does not have the ability to walk anymore. Most boys with DMD lose their lives in their early twenties. When we found out about all of this, our family was devastated! But, there is hope! The MDA is conducting several clinical trials around the globe to either cure DMD or at least find a treatment. So, please come to our bowling event to raise money for the MDA, so they can find a cure for Timmy. Thank you in advance for you patronage!

How do I become a Bowler?
All you need to do is come out to bowl on Saturday the 2nd; you will register then and sign a waiver. If you want to bowl for FREE sign up right away and the MDA will send you your bowling kit or you can receive one from the list of contacts below. Bowling kits are available for anyone who wants to fund-raise for the event.

What is this all about?
MDA provides local health care services to those they serve in the local community. These services include research, a week long summer camp at Camp Cavell in Lexington MI, diagnostic and follow-up medical care at four local clinics and assistance with the purchase and repair of wheelchairs, leg braces and communication devices. Your team will not only get to have a great time, but you also will be helping your community by raising much needed funding.

Whats it cost?
The cost to participate is $25 dollars (this includes 3 games of bowling, bowling shoes rental, pizza and pop). You can fund-raise for you $25 and bowl for FREE. (See contacts below to get a bowling kits). If you raise the amounts below, you will receive the prize that corresponds to that amount. So ask everyone you know to sponsor you bowl and help is "Strike Out" muscular dystrophy.
