If rumours are true, the clan is gathering, and with good reason...
Playing only his second set in Southend this year, our greatest DJ export, the luminary DR BOB JONES is here to lead an outstanding showcase with a main set and a top supporting cast to provide for a killer selection of grooves.
The round-up of the rest of the players doesn't disappoint either as we wil all have to raise our game for this one: PAUL HOUSDEN, resident at SUN OF A BEACH and the Squeeze Cafe's excellent JAZZ JUICE works alongside the mighty URBAN ALL-STARS, here to represent the funkiest flavours imaginable, with me in a suppporting role dropping big beats in the mix along the way.
The venue for this explosive showcase is the basement where it al began...SAKS UNDERGROUND, and I hope this fine line-up offers a a suitable pilgrimage to the place where for so many of us our clubbing legacy began.
