COFFEE JINGLE RECORDS are proud to announce their very own OBSERVING THE GHOST will be supporting the fantastic ZICO CHAIN, who have toured with the likes of VELVET REVOLVER, ALKALINE TRIO AND DISTURBED. Also they have also played the main stage at Download Festival :)
Hailing from Manchester Brighton London, The Zico Chain are a fuzzed up, three-piece, rock 'n' roll revolution. Feeling an over-whelming sense of apathy for the majority of music coming out of the UK in recent years, the band formed from the fallout of drinking too much good cheap booze and going to too many bad awful gigs. The Zico Chain signed to Hassle Records in 2005 and released their self-titled mini-album to a great response in 2006. Tours/gigs with Alkaline Trio, Wolfmother, Thursday, Disturbed, Cave-In and Nine Black Alps followed and demonstrated the wide-ranging appeal and versatility of the band, as they won ever increasing amounts of fans on each date. A triumph over sound problems adversity appearance at Download Festival in June 2006 gave the band a perfect send-off as they jetted off to LA to record their debut album with QOTSA/Tool/Backyard Babies producer Joe Baresi. Taking in all the sights and sounds the City Of Angels had to offer, the guys dedicated their time to recording some of the best down & dirty rock music the UK's produced in recent years. Expect to hear the fruits of their labours sometime in 2007 and, in the meantime, stay tuned! "A ferocious three-piece, this band don't hit pause, accelerating through one three-minute tirade to another, their constant attack holding you in thrall throughout." - Kerrang! "Big things beckon for The Zico Chain, not least for being a modern punk band with balls" - Rock Sound "...kind of how we'd imagine the streets of the Sunset Strip to sound if they formed a band - which is awesome." - Big Cheese
