Streetfight Silence
Formed late 2008 Streetfight Silence are a three piece Pop Rock band from Berkshire comprising Chris Penfold (bass/vocals), Russ Merry (guitar/vocals) and Chrissy Cooley (drums/vocals).
Focusing on playing locally for the first year in order to amass a formidable following, the band then turned their attentions on touring around the country. Not only have they now performed around the UK a number of times, alongside several festival appearances, but they have also arranged their own mini tour in France. This had the fringe benefit of getting their logo displayed in The Hard Rock Cafe in Paris!
Their debut video aired at #3 In the Unsigned Rock Chart on Sky's Lava TV & they have had a number of high profile support slots over the last 18 months including playing the same stage as Canterbury, Francesqa, Don Broco, Tesseract, Flood Of Red, Burn The Fleet & many more.
June 2012 has seen the band join forces with Angry Badger Records in association with Crazy Pug Promotions and the debut album will be released in September. A full UK tour will be announced to coincide with the album launch and will be preceded by a new single and video in July.
