We started with a party, let's end the same way.

On Friday, Feb 24th let all get together and celebrate the end of MERCURY LOUNGE.

We have our good friends John Laxa and Herb Felina providing the sounds, Dominic Ainza and Lawrence Lee providing the drinks and food.

What started as a small appetizer bar on Lombard and Van Ness, to a lounge in the SOMA, Mercury Lounge has become a place where people have gathered to do many things.

we are proud of what we have done in regards to the food and drinks we served, to the many events we have hosted. We have accomplished a lot and met a lot of people. So this is our thanks you party. We will have some drink and shot specials, free food and plenty of good time. So join us and let us say THANK YOU, to all the people who supported us all these years and even the people that have never been there before.

THANK YOUOn behalf of the owners, managers, and staff of Mercury Lounge, we would like to regretfully and reluctantly announce the closing of our doors, effective March 1, 2012.

We are closing due to the current local economic climate, and the challenges we face to be competitive in a constantly innovative and evolving market, including the emerging growth of food trucks in addition to the general competitive nature of our industry.

Nevertheless, we view Mercury Lounge as a success for the duration that we have been able to serve all of you, and we want to thank you for being a part of our family and community, and appreciative of having us as a part of yours.

We will continue to be open for regular business, with our last dinner and late night service occurring on February 18th. We will be open for bar service and a limited menu (including Sisig Nachos!), late night events, private parties, and our Sunday brunch service until our last day on March 1st.

Thanks to all of you once again, our customers, all our past and present staff, and our community for making what Mercury Lounge is…a great place to be.
