Art Viewing & Sale: ONE MORE DAY!
SUNDAY, FEB. 26: 1:00-8:00pm - The Big Day!!! Stop in & visit!
As many of you know, all of us in our Mission St. art studios have been asked to vacate our spaces by the end of February. There is a chance we will be able to move back in in 1-2 months. (Our rents will probably increase.) Meanwhile, we need to take down our walls and completely clear our spaces of all our art and furniture by Feb. 28.
I'll be packing supplies and organizing art work throughout rest of Feb. I would love it if you could stop by during this time.
I never emphasize the selling of art when I have Open Studios.
It is awkward for me, and not why I do art.
For me, the most important thing has always been the opportunity to share my art with others - this work that is so important to me.
But this time, I am mentioning "art for sale", as I will need to raise much-needed funds to move my art out of my studio, into another studio, and possibly the storing of art and supplies until I find another suitable space to work in.
I will have many works of art all over the studio: on walls, on the floor, on tables. Many will be greatly reduced. Actually, I think this will be great fun! I'll be packing, the studio could be in "slight chaos" :), and work will be all over the place. And YOU, happy visitors, will be stopping in to say hello, see what I have... and who knows, there just may be something you would like to own! Owning original art and supporting local artists is a cool thing!
Please note: even if buying art is not an option, or something you want to do, I would LOVE it if you would stop by anyway. Come see my art! Say hello! Hang out. Lend support while I pack up.
(This is a sad occasion for me... yuk.. You would make it better!!)
What's to see:
Pastels, watercolors, charcoal drawings on paper; various sizes.
Nature photographs (mine).
Art cards.
Mixed media on canvas and wood. Small to large.
Reduced! Reduced!!
ONE MORE DAY TO SEE MY WORK IN THIS STUDIO:
SUNDAY, FEB. 26: 1:00-8:00pm
FREE PARKING on Mission St. in front of my studio all day on Sunday.
I'd love to see you! Maybe buy some art, cards....
or JUST STOP IN TO HELLO!!! That would mean so much to me.
IMPORTANT: You will need to CALL MY CELL so I can come to the front door and let you in. 415-515-9248.
There is a buzzer thing with my name on it. Follow instructions and that could work too.
Thanks for your support!
