After last year's rousing birthday party at Public Works with Wolf + Lamb vs Soul Clap, the boys of Fedora decided to bring another of their favorite artists into San Francisco for their birthday celebration.
This year's artist of choice comes from one of the hottest record labels around right now My Favorite Robot. James Teej, from the label and group bearing the same name has been lighting up the dance charts for the last several years with original productions and remixes bearing his unique style. His latest collaboration with Sasha, the Bring On the Night EP, is a hypnotic brooding journey into pscychedelia that is currently burning up the charts with the M.A.N.D.Y. remix of Night Track sitting in the Beatport top 100. We are beyond excited and honored to have him join us in our celebration with a 3 hour set.
Joining James are two of San Francisco's finest DJs, talents and people, Jason Kendig from Honey Soundsystem and As You Like It's Mattie Mossmoss Bowen. Jason's been a fixture of San Francisco's best weekly for the last several years and was with us last year for our celebration. Not only is he one of our favorite DJ's but also one of our favorite people. We just couldn't imagine having another birthday without him around. Joining him is local favorite Mattie Mossmoss Bowen. Mattie has been destroying San Francisco dance floors since his move from Ohio a few years ago, first as part of the Nightlight crew and now as part of local heavyweight As You Like It. We couldn't think of a better person to set the tone for the night.
In addition to celebrating the birthdays of both members of Fedora, Michael Perry and Matt Wilder, we will also be celebrating the birthday of local sweetheart Lea Camille. If you've gone out in San Francisco, chances are you've run into her or eaten one of her amazing cupcakes. She's always more than willing to help celebrate everyone else's birthday, it's our turn to help celebrate hers.

James Teej is a 30 year old Canadian born electronic music artist, producer and DJ currently residing in Toronto, Canada. With a career that already spans over 15 years and with over 15 years of professional music training, James has been a die hard music enthusiast for all things electronic, and is fast becoming one of Canadas rising influential stars in the global underground music scene.
