Once again we will take you on a journey into the depths of Lake Shasta for a show down of the west coast's finest live acts and DJs.
This event is a fine example of what the combination of great friends, music, location, and aquatic sports can bring when sailing the Shake Lasta Seas. This year we will have 4 nights of music covering only THE BEST of Electro, Psytrance, Industrial, Techno, Breaks, Downtempo, Yacht Rock, Douche Baggery, Viking Anthems, and all else our lovely audionaughts decide to bring.
This is a community event where we collectively do our best to create the most beautiful surroundings possible. From meals, music and themed events.
This year we will feature 2 boats, and 4 nights of music and mayhem for all to enjoy. We will have the same boats as last year, complete with a chill boat, jacuzzi, slide into the lake, BBQ's, full kitchens, dance floor, wet-bar, and coolers.
For those who have yet to have a Shake Lasta experience, it's kind of like this...
The event was created in an effort to align the various talents of those involved in the psychedelic music community throughout the west coast. We sail the beautiful Shasta Seas in search of which cove we decide to call our own. Then we transform the boats and land around us into our own private Oasis in which we set up a sound system, food, drink, deco, and anything one has to offer to the experience.
The boats set sail Thursday (9/6) morning and return Monday (9/10) morning and have the Patio Boat going back and forth form our cove to the docks on a daily basis.
This will be the 11th year running and there are no signs of stopping. The experiences shared on these boats are one of a kind and leave many deep memories. This IS a family event, and considered a reunion for a lot of us.
The lake is rain fed, which means its warmer year round. This year we are lucky enough to have the lake level up to 100%. Its going to be an epic year...
