THE MONEY MAKER

We know there’s a competitive side in you, but how about just having fun. Hence we had the brilliant idea of coming up with informal events. With these events, you don’t have to be good at anything, you can just be yourself.

GENERAL

• Cross teams even with SLS students are allowed.

• SLS students have to pay for registration also.

• If SLS students win, they are entitled to cash prizes.

DAY 1 – 25th February:

1. The Iron Man Contest: A series of events will decide who are the real men/ women of steel- As the name suggests, we want to see who goes to the gym most.

i) Maximum number of push ups

ii) Maximum no. of crunches

iii) Weight Transfers

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

- Participants may register for individual events or for the overall contest.

- Cash prize for individual events is Rs. 3,000.

- Cash prize for the overall contest Rs. 9,000.

- Registration for individual events Rs. 40

- Registration for overall contest Rs. 100

- Unlimited no. of participants.

- On the spot or pre-registration.

2.The Iron Fist Contest: Arm wrestling.

- Registration Rs. 50

- Unlimited no. of participants.

- On the spot or pre- registration.

- Cash prize Rs. 3,000.

3. The E Factor: are you the next big thing? Is your talent good enough to be shared with the world? Can u handle being judged by your own peers? Well if you think you got what it takes to flaunt it, then come on down and show us what you got.

- The selected participants will before an audience comprising of college students, who will judge them based on their entertainment factor by show of flags. The participants, who survive two minutes on stage, make it to the next level. The participants selected from the first round will then perform before judges for the coveted prize.

- Pre – registered event as well as on the spot registration (subject to availability)

- Registration Rs. 100 per entry.

- Individual and teams entries are allowed, with a maximum of 30 entries.

- Cash prize : 1st prize Rs. 5000, 2nd prize Rs. 2000.DAY 2- 26th February:

4. STRIP: each team of two will have 7 strips on them. The task is the snatch all the strips of the other team to eliminate them, making sure all the while their own strips don’t get pulled away (However making sure that your flags don’t get snatched away). After 20 mins, the team with the maximum no. of strips in hand and at least 1 strip on each team member wins.

- Cash prize Rs. 5,000.

- Registration fee. Rs. 50

- Maximum 15 teams

5. The Hog-Mart: as the name explains it, the participant that eats/ drinks the provided articles fastest, wins- Yes, this one is for all you food lovers. Whoever manages to eat or drink fastest, wins.

- Cash prize Rs. 3000 ( hogging contest) , Rs. 3000 ( chugging contest)

- Registration fee Rs. 50. Pre- registered event.

- Maximum 30 participants each for chugging and hogging.

6. The Task Masters: Teams of 2 will have to solve 11 clues and perform a series of 11 tasks which vary on difficulty levels. Each type of task has a travel time and has to be completed within the time limit prescribed. Failure to do so, will lead to penalty.

- Only Pre- registration.

- Max. 15 teams can be registered.

- Cash prize 1st prize Rs. 10,000 and 2nd prize Rs. 4,000.

- Registration Rs. 100.If you feel these games don’t enthrall you, don’t despair because during the fest, there will be many more informal events along with these 6 main events. So be on the lookout!
