IT IS OUR BELIEF THAT ONE OF THE BIGGEST OBSTACLES TO AN EDUCATION IS SELF-ESTEEM.
"ONE COAT COULD SAVE A KID
ONE KID COULD SAVE THE WORLD"
we will be accepting donations of "gently used" school coats which will be made available to children on free and reduced lunch via Portland public Schools PTA clothing closet.
Over the last four years we, as a community, have raised thousands of coats...
NO REASON TO STOP NOW.
this will be a potluck BBQ event.
food will be provided for those who cannot bring their own.
it is BYOB, (no hard liquor)
per usual I will be grilling and chilling all day so there will be plenty of food if you cannot bring some...
just please bring coats
there will be no amplified music,
but there will be rappers and such. lol
we will also be accepting dry food donations for Impact NW, to make up for not having a Foodwars this year,
and we will also be accepting school supplies to be distributed via the local community center.
So come, have fun, eat, drink, bring the kids, the dogs, your parents and your grandparents.
this is gonna be huge!!
