5-A Side - One Day Indoor Soccer Tournament
Friday 24th Feb 2012 -6pm - 9:30pm
Pearson Hall Gym 145
Open to all men teams, women teams and spectators (No Coed Teams Allowed)
-This is a gender segregated tournament, where women teams will play against women teams and men teams will play against men teams.
5 players minimum - 7 players maximum ($48 Per Team )
Refreshments will be served
Grand prizes will be awarded to first place men team and first place woman team
We advice all team captains or team representative to attend the draw meeting on Wednesday 22nd Feb at 3pm.

Rules & Regulations:
1. Applications, signed rules and regulations form, and payment must be submitted no later than FEB 20th 2012. NO EXCEPTIONS
2. Each team can register a minimum of 5 players and a maximum of 6 players (5 players must be on court at all times).
3. All teams must be on the court at 5:30pm to check in. Any team that fails to have at least 5 players from their team by 6:00pm will be disqualified. NO EXCEPTIONS
4. During the game the captain must make himself known to the referee. Wearing an armband is optional.
5. During the game only the captain can communicate with the referee. However, the use of foul language will be dealt with at the referee’s discrepancy.
6. If a player other than the captain communicates with the referee, the referee is allowed to deal with the issue at his own discrepancy.
7. The offside rule will not apply to this tournament.
8. Each game will be 15 minutes with a 1 minute break period.
9. Tied games will go to 3 shot penalties.
10. TASS reserves the right to take whatever action it sees necessary when it comes to a player’s behavior on and off the court. On the court, TASS can only correct the referee if he goes against a standing TASS rule.
11. Each team must wear its coordinated and agreed upon team gear for every game.
12. Each player will play at their own risk; TASS is not responsible for any injuries.
13. Any player who receives two yellow cards in one game time period will be banned for the rest of the game.
14. Any player who receives a red card will be banned for the rest of the game.
15. The referee will distinguish between deliberate and accidental entry.
16. This is a gender segregated tournament, where women will play against women and men will play against men.
17. Only the first 8 men teams to apply will be accepted, and only the first 8 women teams will be accepted. General Rules:
- Application, signed rules and regulations form, and payment deadline is FEB 20th, 2012
- All teams must check in before the tournament begins at 5:30pm. All members should be present. Any team that fails to check in by 6pm WILL BE DISQUALIFIED (NO EXCEPTIONS).
- No eating/snacks inside the court at all times. Eating is ONLY ALLOWED IN THE LOUNGE AREA.
- All team members must wear its coordinated and agreed upon team color for every game. Men may not play shirtless.
- You will be responsible for injuries and equipment damages that you cause.
- Foul language or aggressive behavior will NOT BE TOLERATED.
- Team players that are waiting to play and all spectators are welcome to wait at the lounge area or in designated court area.
- Spectators are only allowed in lounge area or designated area inside the gym.
- Please wear appropriate sporting clothes and shoes.
- The captain will be the main point of contact for any communication with TASS board.
- All team players and spectators must bring their student ID or state ID on the day of the tournament to have access to the building.
