*WHAT IS ANTAKSHARI NIGHT?*

Antakshari Night is close to a karaoke night with a game show twist! "Antakshari" is a musical game most commonly played in South Asian countries (Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, etc.). The word "antakshari" derives from two Hindi words: "Ant (अन्त)" meaning "end" and "Akshar (अक्षर)" meaning "letter of the alphabet."

The 1st and 2nd rounds are unique PSA creations invented to thoroughly test the musical knowledge of our 6 teams (details about rounds and teams below).

The 3rd round (FINAL ROUND) of Antakshari Night will follow the original premise of the game: (the first team sings the first two lines of a South Asian song, then the last word/syllable sung by the first team, is used by the opposing team to sing another song, starting with that same word/syllable).

*RULES OF THE GAME*

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Round 1 - Khon Sa Gana?! (Which Song Is It?!)
-Both teams will hear a song. The first team to buzz in will have to identify the which South Asian movie the song is from OR the singer of the song.
Round 2 - Agay Gau! (Sing Ahead!)
-A portion (about 15 secs) of a song will be played. The first team to buzz in will have to finish the song (with correct lyrics).
Round 3 (FINAL ROUND) - Antakshari!
-Team 1 will pick a word out of a hat and have to sing a song containing the word. Team 2 will carry on with original Antakshari rules and sing a song starting with the last word sung by Team 1.*Points will be awarded for correct answers! Points will be deducted for false buzzing! If a team guesses incorrectly, the opposing team will get a chance to steal their points. In the event of a tie, a special tie-breaker round will be initiated.*
*THERE WILL ALSO BE SURPRISES FOR THE AUDIENCE, THIS ISN'T YOUR TYPICAL GAME SHOW! .... and of course there will be dancing!*
