Welcome to the first EVER kOLAB Beatbox Battles.
kOLAB is a dedicated night for people to get a chance to have a Massive JAM, mix genres of music and make random sounds from the mouth. Well,,, incredible sounds from the mouth as we had Mc Xander down smashing it once again on our first night in 2011.
We have come up with a new plan for the future and we are going to hold Beatbox Battles. But,, of course its collaboration. There are alot of solo competitions on at the moment and now its time for the UK to up the game on Tag Team Battles.
As its a first for us,, We would like to Host our first one in Peterborough and hold more in other main city's in the future.
There's alot of incredible Beatboxers out there and we want you to prove your skills as a team. Have you got what it takes to WIN ???

Hip Hop fanatic,,, Mixy has the ability to write to any genre of music. In 2010 - Mixy was awarded poet laureate in Peterborough, He was also the Speak Easy Slam Champ and Known for winning King of the Mic. Mixy soon realised this was a great career developing.You may of seen his face on channel 4??? Visiting schools and helping children develop there rap skills.

Local man Skillz,, has been supporting the Beatbox scene for 5yrs now, Member of Locality - http://www.facebook.com/Locality1 and Founder of Kolab Beatbox Battle's. Skillz is a regular BOOM KLAP WOB Entertainer all round. He uses only his mouth to create sounds to make people mosh pit!!
Skillz provides an intense 30min set full of Hip Hop - Electric Dance - Dubstep and DnB. In 2011,, Skilly smashed his way through to the Final's for the National Beatbox Championships!! Being the first EVER time entering the competition.
You can catch him performing for the Queen June 13th as requested by the lieutenant of Cambridgeshire. He will be at the Diamond Jubilee performing to 10.000 people. ---------http://bit.ly/yJ6y6z------------

[][][][][][]- BEATBOX BATTLE'S WILL BEGIN AT 9:30PM-[][][][][]
[][][][] ALL BEATBOX'S WILL NEED TO SIGN IN BY 9:00PM [][][]
1.)The 8 teams will first have an Elimination round, (1 round of 1:30min for each team) 6 teams will be put through to the Quarter Final.
2.) Quarter Final's - The 6 Remaining teams will Battle down to 4 teams, (1 round of 2:00mins each.) ( 2nd Elimination round)
3.)Semi Finals Head to Head Battle's - 4 teams will battle Head to Head, down to 2 teams, (2 rounds of 2:00mins each)
4.) Fight for third place - ( 2 rounds each of 2:00mins each team)
5.) THE BIG FINAL- Last 2 Teams go Head to Head for the chance to be no1 of the FIRST EVER KOLAB BEATBOX BATTLE
6.) When your time has run out on the head to head Battle's, The other team will follow straight after with no count down.
7.) Each Battle is to be performed by the Human Voice only. NO! equipment is to be used while on stage. All Microphones are supplied
8.) If for any reason you or your team mate are not present when being called, Your battle will be pushed to the back of the round. If you or your team mate are still not present, Then your team will be disqualified from the compition. If this is to happen, The reserve team will be put in that place of the competitors.
