Bei Ru is a Producer/Composer/DJ from Los Angeles, CA. His album, Little Armenia (L.A.), was released on his own Musa Ler Music imprint. Through utilizing and rearranging samples from rare, obscure, and out-of-print Armenian records while layering them with live bass, drums, guitars and horns, he created a truly unique blend of vintage sounds mashed with Electronic, Funk, and Soul music.
"Bei Ru's album plays like a love letter to his heritage. Little Armenia (L.A.) is the sound of a diaspora that settled in Los Angeles, Armenian music filtered through the influence of albums like Dr. Dre's The Chronic and underground hip-hop."
