Rahim's Latin Friday & Lorna's Dance Collective Present: Ottawa SalsaPalooza Charity (Dance) Event! Summer 2012, Saturday June 9th.

When and Where? Saturday, June 9th, 2012 at the Ottawa’s beautiful Glebe Community Center !

This event is open to anyone wishing to perform Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cha Cha, Latin & Standard Ballroom, Jazz, Flamenco, Argentinean Tango,Tap Dance, Reggaeton, Belly Dancing, Modern, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Break dance, Folk Dance & more.......

ALL LOCAL TALENTS WELCOME to perform and entertain the community for this great cause.

Free Admission to Performers But Must be willing to sell at least ONE ticket to friends or family members ! Thank you !

Please be advised that one showcase per team or group ONLY will be allowed. but studios may still present to a maximum of 5 dance teams/groups.

Maximum dancers per group 20 people

Maximum 2 minutes routine for a couple or solo & 4 minutes for group dancers.

Technical Rehearsal will take place on Saturday June 9th, between noon to 3 pm ONLY at the Glebe Community Center.175 Third Avenue at Lyon !

All dance schools, teams, groups, or individuals are requested to book their showcases by sending the Registration Form available at:

( www.ottawasalsapalooza.com ) Stay tuned for more updated information and reserve tickets early, they will sell out fast!!!!

Please note that the Glebe Community Center can accommodate 400 people, but only 300 seated. There will be plenty of room to enjoy the show and dance!!!

Doors Open at 6:00 pm with the event ending at 1:00 am. We aim to wrap up all showcases by 10:30 pm, including some general dancing between showcases. From that time on, we'll open the floor to general dancing until early morning! 1:00am.

Tickets are available at Rahim's Latin Friday ( 275 Elgin St.on Friday nights) and at Lorna's Dance Collective at the Glebe Community Center every Sunday night between 8 pm to 11 pm.

Cover: $12 advance, $17 at the door
