Featuring a performance by electro-poetic recording artist DANNIEL OICKLE, "The Corruption of Flesh" is part performance art and part electro-pop concert.

Throughout history, there have been many representations of God and the Devil. One such representation has been around for more than 4000 years and represents the God of sexuality and nature. Though he goes by many names, one most notable is Pan; he is represented as half man & half goat, a faun, which is why creatures of nature still holds his name (fauna). As with most religions as they fall out of practice, the previous Gods are knocked from their realms and cast out. Pan was stripped of his divinity and became the recognized visual for the Christian Devil. His worship was called satanic and his love of sex and nature were bastardized. In "The Corruption of Flesh" we will delve into the world where sexuality and religion (Love & Hate) collide, and nature in all its forms is held above. It is an ancient war between who we are and who we tell ourselves we should be. Eat of the fruit and it will set you free!

The performance will contain songs from Danniel Oickle's albums "Poison Apples & Other Delicacies" (2011) and "The Corruption of Flesh" (2011-2012) along with spoken performances of works from his book "Dancing in Silence" (2010) which rose to #4 in Canada and the soon to be published "My Heart Has Teeth" (2012).

$10 at the door.
