After Taylor Naggs-Aquino was born she was diagnosed with a very rare genetic disease called PCH. Ponto Cerebellar Hypoplasia, in layman's terms, is a gene mutation that does not allow the cerebellum part of the brain to develop. The cerebellum is the part of your brain that controls all of your motor skills.
As Taylor gets older she has special needs: There is equipment such as special chairs, gait trainers, light boards, etc. that would make this little girl's life more manageable. Unfortunately, the cost of this special equipment is well beyond her parents' means.
Family, friends, and loved ones will be hosting a benefit on September 1, 2012. There will be a Golf Outing at the Pine Hills Golf Club in Ottawa, IL, beginning at 12pm. Space is limited to 18 Foursomes…so get registered early by calling Muffy’s Tap at 815-433-6839. Cost per player is $65 which includes a ticket to the benefit that follows at Muffy’s Tap at 423 W. Madison, Ottawa, IL. From 4pm until 11pm, we will have a Pig Roast Dinner, Raffles, and Silent Auction along with music provided by the Crash Band. Come join us to help support this great cause!
