A DJ career dating back to 2001, and production dating back to 1997, Type-Z.E.R.O. Has been at this game for a while. Originally taking root in progressive and techno, his sound has evolved across almost every genre of trance and now settling in on Hardstyle. Obsess with the genre, Type-Z.E.R.O. has dedicated himself to perfecting his mixing techniques and playing some of the most uplifting and driving melodies combined with the hardest and dirtiest drum beats around.

After an almost 4 year hiatus, he's back with a vengeance... with a new sound and a new company, Type-Z.E.R.O.'s Overdrive Canada is ready to rip it up, and destroy dance floors. Having played along side of such names as DJ Sharkey, DJ Unknown, CLSM, Luna-C, Rodi Styles, DJ Prospect, DJ Pinnacle, Mark Smith, No-Left-Turn, The Blizzard Boys, Dain-Ja, P4L4DIN, DJ Mad, DJ Tamerax, DJ Virus, DJ Joe Rowe just to name a few.

Bio:

Started djing in 1999 in Ottawa, Canada. He started out playing hard trance but after hearing Psytrance at an outdoor party he quickly switched to play the music which touched his spirit. He is one of the better traveled Ottawa Psytrance dj's, playing gigs around Ontario, New York, Calgary and Vancouver and the Royal Doof 2009 in Australia. He never fails to get the dance floor going insane. His first affiliation was with Mind Candy Productions in New York, Jade Buddha, Project D and now with Soundkraft Records. Tampered dna has played next to psy legends such as Green nuns of the Revolution, A-team, Hydroglyph, Deciant Species, Painkiller and U-reckon to name a few. He became mainstay in Ottawa with several residencies and regular performances at various clubs and parties. His style can be best described as "in your face variety and fluidity". Tampered dna was voted one of Top 20 Favorite Local DJs in Ottawa on RaveCanada.net. Tampered DNA was voted one of Top 15 Most Request Local DJs for Upcoming Events in Ottawa on RaveCanada.net. 2009-2010. He was one third of the originators of Ritual Nights, a monthly Psytrance night in Ottawa, Canada. After moving on, he has been involved with spreading the psytrance word at many a mixed genre party in and around Ottawa. He currently has a monthly radio show called Keep it Strange on the Psytrance station of www.di.fm. This show is the last Friday of every month..

Originating from Ottawa but now residing in montreal , Dj synthetik is no new comer to the psychedelic scene. With his great selection on psychedelic frequencies mixed with pounding bass he is sure to get your feet stomping on the dance floor.

Long time local, started Dj'ing in 1999, started playing electronica of various styles at house parties, and with in a years time was playing a few out door events and "renegade" parties, often playing Psy, Progressive, and Chill. By 2002 he began a long journey of exploration in the making of music. Studied Music and Psychology at Carelton U, and has been involved with creating music several musical acts. Creating music in the styles of Classical, hip hop, Trance, Chill, Psy, and more. In 2008 he started the Locals Only Music Project. A distribution / label of sorts putting together a couple of compilation discs with the aim of getting into the hands of music lovers, publishers, and labels. He successfully has had several people signed to a publishing agency out west. He knows what sounds good and what will work. Over a decade of knowledge. Tune in for a selection of original trax written by him and others and some of the best known music out there.
