GNAG* Theatre presents
Shakespeare’s
KING LEAR
Directed by Eleanor Crowder
Fight Direction by Chris McLeod and John Brogan
Shakespeare’s King Lear exposes the indignities of age. Lear gives his kingdom to his daughters, only to find their filial duty lacking. The play explores the old king’s rage, the natural and unnatural love of children for their parents, and what peace is possible, in a sweeping tragedy underpinned by villainous scheming.
