On June first you can see the difference one person can truly make - come see Guerilla Midwife, the film about Robin Lim, who just won the CNN Hero of the Year award.
The CHOICE Birth and Baby Film Festival is a celebration of the options available to families preparing to welcome a baby, as well as the community of family, friends, and professionals that supports them. This festival is a benefit for local birth and baby organizations including the Coalition for Breech Birth. CBB will use all contributions to defray the costs of hosting the International Breech Conference in Washington DC, in November 2012.
Films will presented the first Friday of each month.
Discounted tickets are available in advance at www.informedchoice.ca for $11.60 (adult) and $6.60 (students, seniors, and children), or purchase a Festival Passport for $75. Tickets are $15 at the door. In a special effort to reach out to dads, men receive a special rate of $3.40 or $5 at the door, allowing couples to attend for $15 in advance or $20 at the door.
