The Diane's Angels first began after the death of our beautiful mother Diane Lariviere who passed away on January 1, 2004. My sister and I have since been dedicated to keeping her memory alive by helping others.
The name “Diane’s Angels”, which has a pink theme, pays tribute to our mother Diane who adored angels and had a love of the colour pink. It also represents the fact that we see our mother as an angel now.
For the past 7 years the Diane's Angels have raised thousands of dollars toward Cancer Prevention and the Canadian Cancer Society by participating in the Ottawa Race Weekend and Relay for life every year.
ABOUT DIANE:
Diane Lariviere

Diane was a loving mother of 5 children when she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung Cancer that eventually spread throughout her entire body at the young age of 44. Her life suddenly came to an end on New Year’s morning when she took her last breath at the Ottawa General Hospital.
