Hey everyone!!

Those who know me well know I have a lot of "non-active" bones :) Surprise, I'm running a half marathon!

Why? Because I'm passionate about the fight against leukemia and other blood diseases. I'm very blessed that my mom is currently in remission from Leukemia but there are many families who are not as fortunate.

I'm taking action.

I have committed to running 13.1 miles to raise awareness and support for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society so cancer patients and their families can continue to receive education, resources, and support. We want to find a cure!

So where do you come in? Well, I need all the motivation, support, and all the well wishers I can get :)

Please join the event and be there "in spirit"...no, you don't actually have to get up at 4 a.m. but that's when I'll be up come race day!

You can follow my training blog, leave good wishes and spread the word to your families and friends and donate at my fundraising page below. I have committed to running the whole 13.1 miles and to raising $1,700.
