Oberlin College has a long-standing commitment to community service, activism, and making the world a better place. Join us on Day of Service to get to know the local area, meet returning student leaders, and play a part in building Oberlin’s history. The Day of Service includes a brief orientation at your service site, participation in a community service project, and time to discuss future opportunities for community service. Free box lunches are provided. Please bring your own water bottle and dress to get dirty in closed-toe shoes, long pants, and short-sleeve shirts. (Shorts, tank tops, half-shirts, and sleeveless shirts are not permitted.) This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the City of Oberlin and greater Lorain County.
Note: If you did not pre-register and you are interested in participating, please come by. Open registration begins at 9:20 a.m., on a first-come, first-serve basis; buses leave at 10:00 a.m. For more information, please contact the Bonner Center for Service and Learning at bcsldos@oberlin.edu
